Of course I talk to myself--
It is a most useful device.
It's frequently true, when working things through:
Sometimes I need expert advice.

It's not that I'm crazy, you know,
For as a general rule
When talking to me I'm as sane as can be
And the man I chat with is no fool.

Einstein talked to himself
Which really should be no surprise.
The man I talk to is intelligent too
And I find him incredibly wise.

Whatever conundrums I face,
Whenever I need expertise,
I turn to this man whenever I can
And I find that he always agrees.

So, yes, I talk to myself;
It's not such a terrible vice.
I listen so well to the things that I tell
And I get such amazing advice!
