Jesus and Other Christians Save Many People.

The woman who washes Jesus' feet: Jesus forgives her sins and saves her, demonstrating the power of faith and God's grace (Luke 7:36-50).

The paralytic man: Jesus cures him, showing His ability to heal the sick and the broken (Mark 2:1-12).

The thief on the cross: Jesus promises eternal life to him, highlighting the significance of faith in salvation (Luke 23:39-43).

Jairus pleaded for Jesus to heal his dying daughter. Despite her death, Jesus revived her, demonstrating his authority over death and life (Luke 8:49–56).

During a drought, Elijah revived a widow's son in Zarephath, proving God's power over false gods. Later, Elisha restored a wealthy couple's son in Shunem, showcasing God's miracles. Both women expressed gratitude and worship for their sons' restored lives and God's greatness (1 King 17:17-24).

After Elisha, the prophet, died, he was buried in a cave or tomb. Moabite raiders attacked Israel every spring, one time interrupting a funeral. Fearing for their own lives, the burial party quickly threw the body into the first convenient place, Elisha's tomb. As soon as the body touched Elisha's bones, the dead man came to life and stood up on his feet. The men who tossed the body in Elisha’s tomb observed the man raised from the dead and spread the story far and wide. This miracle foreshadowed how Christ's death and resurrection turned the grave into a passageway to new life. (2 Kings 13:20–21).

Elisha revitalized the Shunammite woman's son, who had died, by praying over him and lying on him, leading to the boy's miraculous resurrection and the woman's gratitude (2 Kings 4:18-37).

Jesus raised the widow's son in Nain, restoring him to life and astonishing the crowd (Luke 7:11–17).

Elisha's bones revived a dead man, foreshadowing Christ’s resurrection, transforming death into new life (2 Kings 13:20–21).

In Capernaum, Jesus raised Jairus’s daughter from the dead, demonstrating His authority over death, instructing parents to keep the miracle secret (Luke 8:49–56).

Martha and Mary mourned Lazarus' death. Jesus reassured Martha, prayed, and commanded Lazarus to rise. Lazarus emerged alive, despite being dead four days (John 11:1-44).

Men plotted to kill Jesus; he was crucified, buried, resurrected, and appeared to many afterward (Matthew 28:1-20; Mark 16:1-20; Luke 24:1-49; John 20:1-21:25).

Tabitha, beloved for her good deeds, was resurrected by Peter, increasing belief in Jesus (Acts 9:36-42).
