May you find strength

Hello you,
Seems like I've become an idiot again.
I wonder why I never know what to do when it comes to you.
Paralyzed by the fear you might find out,
my old self quivers in the corner.
Life is too short to keep these feelings hidden,
I know, I really do know,
alas, the cowardly whispers win me over.
I've always loved you, through our silence and distance.

Ah a phone call.
A long awaited one.
Why does the message delivered feel this heavy?
My chest hurts twice as much.
The grief in your voice, struck like a chord.
At this moment, where your world is breaking apart.
It breaks my heart that I'm unable to do anything for you.
I'd give you the world if I could, although you might not want that from me.
Instead, I pray with all my heart you have the strength to keep living.
Please never give up my love, forever and always.
I love you. Always have, always will.
