The weather in the Philippines right now is as hot as ever. Every afternoon starting at 1 PM the sun is cast down the side of our house, making it well, really hot inside. And it's not even the month of April yet! My friends and I are planning to hit the beach around May, but for the meanwhile, I have to entertain myself to forget about the heat Since I just finished the documentation I was doing over the past week for my Data Modelling and Relational Database class, I now have plenty of free time in my hands during afternoons (class ended for us a week ago). I busy myself with playing the guitar. I learned when I was about in sixth grade but never really took it seriously, so now I am sharpening my skills (naks ). My best friend Shiela came around 6 today. She usually comes to my place just to hang, and I to their place for the same reason. About 20 minutes later our friend Mike appeared, too, and soon another friend of ours, Ramon, also showed up. It was great talking and hanging out with them, and it's just so normal for all of us (we do that almost everyday) but now I realize that I am lucky to have such friends. They feel like family already. We ended up singing with my dad with the videoke (the one that shows scores). It was really funny. Mike scored 22% and that was bad. Haha. Shiela said that the electricity was wasted on him. What a joke. I myself sang a couple of Blondie songs. I love the band, but boy, I sucked. It's just that they're so hard to sing, don't you agree? |
My friend Jason had his birthday yesterday but we didn't see each other so he treated me today instead. It was the ultimate PUDTRIP!!! (food trip) We had a whole table full of goodies and we ate every last morsel by ourselves. That was over five hours ago and I still feel the need to burp. It was great, really. |
It was a peaceful Monday morning here in our humble home, and my dad was innocently chopping up the hamonado my sister brought to us the other day. When suddenly my younger sister shrieked and the slices of meat was sent fyling to different parts of our kitchen. "My hand slipped," Papa said, eyeing the slice on his foot. Good Morning! |
