They say your brain is split into three parts. For us writers they include: Just Writing
Hi guys! You've just found the Jlog of Jade Amber! Now you might be wondering: "What in the world is a 'Jlog'?" Well, a jlog is a mash of journal and blog. Since they give you an option for a title: Journal/Blog, I decided to mash them together! Hence the name 'Jlog'. So please enjoy a cup of Joe whilst you read and I will try to remember to 'Jlog' every day. While we're at it, enjoy these quotes I found online:

Wake up with determination, go to sleep with satisfaction.

Be happy and smile.

Don't call it a dream, call it a plan.

Life is tough, but so are you. -Stephanie Bennett-Henry

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring, which all has the potential to turn someone's life around. -Leo Buscaglia

Mine is... what the fudge. *Laugh*

Okay, I'm just kidding. I "say" that it's my catchphrase because it's something that I say often, mainly because I can't say the word it originates from.

Actually, I can't think of any other catchphrases that I have, other than "curse words", like fudge, shoot, dagnabit, doggone, crap, and others.

My parents won't let me say some of those "curse words", because it's too close to the actual word, but I still say them. *Wink*

Though there was a time when I had this idea of replacing curse words with food and drinks.

So one time I said "What the cheesecake? Holy chocolate milk, okay!", and my mom loved it. Now the only type of food that I say everyday is "fudge". *Bigsmile*

Then whenever Mom cusses, she sometimes says, "Shoot fire and brimstone." and sometimes I'll say that, but not often.

Today's topic is Ray Parker Jr; today is his 62nd birthday! *GiftO**Delight**BalloonG*

Also, we're talking about music.

They say that people can play music two ways, one way is to play with the actual instrument, like me and playing the guitar, and the latter is to play on the computer, which I can't do, but people with lightning fast fingers can.

The bad thing about playing instruments on the computer, like say Guitar Hero, when you have the actual instrument in front of you, you won't know how to play!

Though the good thing about that is if you have lightning fast fingers, you could probably play a fast piano piece.

But you will end up "murdering" your computer keys in the long run. *Wink*

They also say that if you play simulators, like skydiving simulators, you'll be really good at skydiving in real life.

I'm getting off track... *Rolleyes*

But if you ask whether to play a video game guitar or a real one, pick the real one, trust me, you'll know a lot more about playing guitar and draw a bigger crowd than you will if you only know how to play a virtual guitar.

This will be short because I wanted an item that I made do all the talking.

"Invalid Item

This is something that I made last night.

I won't talk a whole lot about it, because I want the narrative to speak for itself.

Enjoy the read! *Smile*

Sorry about not jlogging lately, if you don't already know, I am in "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" and I play the role of the Fox, and if you've seen the movie, you'll know who I'm talking about.

But even though the role of the Fox isn't all that big and shiny, it's still a lot of work, hence me not jlogging as much as I've done.

I have a fight, maybe I should say "a scrawl", with Maugrim, the chief of police in Narnia, and that's hard work, trying not to anticipate someone's movements, and trying to make it look real for the audience, with grunts and a bunch of noises.

Now I have to memorize more lines, that aren't my lines, mind you, and I have to do so, just in case one of the kids forgets their line and so we're not standing there for eternity.

Sorry if I'm sounding like I'm complaining, I'm not, I'm just telling you what's going on.

Well, I need to go now, Dad wants to watch "The Return of the King" and I'm using the device we're going to watch it on.

Bye!

Yes, I was in the media twice, actually.

I was in the newspaper at age 9, because of our town having our yearly "celebration?" of The National Day of Prayer.

My dad was interviewed by the camera guy, he was the only one there from the Stateboro Herald, and the camera guy took a picture of the both of us.

I was clinging to my dad during the prayer, mostly because I was trying to comfort him since he was crying.

The other time was when I was on TV.

I was with a group at our church called "The Jolly Christians" and I was an unofficial member.

You needed to be 50 and over in order to be a part, so that's why I say I was unofficial. *Laugh*

Anyway, they would sometimes go on field trips, and this particular one was to our TV station.

We got to look around, lots of offices and cameras, and later they let us be a part of the audience.

We got to see the reporter and weather man in action, and at the end of the reports, we were shown to the public.

Now that I think about it, I've also appeared in another newspaper article, but this was one about a play I was in and I wasn't the main focus, I was off to the side in both pictures.

I was excited about being shown to the town, still am.

For Christmas shopping, we're the family that gets all our shopping done during December.

And for the best gift I've ever given, it's a mug with coffee beans on it.

Let me explain.

The idea I had for this mug was to give it to mom for her to drink coffee out of.

Then I had another idea.

I had made my mom/dad a mug for Mother's/Father's Day years ago.

I was a tyke at the time, and what happened was the parent who wasn't receiving the cup, took me to our local pottery shop, grabbed a mug and some paint, slathered paint all over my hands and mushed my hands to the cup, and in the end, the mug was covered in my handprints.

Now I knew that was really precious, so I did the same thing with this mug, except instead of using the whole hand, I just used a thumb.

So, I thumbprinted coffee beans all over the mug, but in order for them to show, I had to repeat the process three time in order for it to be shown.

When I was done, I made a line in each coffee bean to signify, "Hey. I'm a coffee bean." and a little message at the bottom of the mug, for when she's done drinking her coffee, that said, "Done already?" *Laugh*

I love that part, but the part I love the most is the fact I used thumbprints to make coffee beans.

I just feel that that is so sweet, and I am, indeed, a sweet girl. *Bigsmile*

When I couldn't sleep as a kid, I would walk over to my parent's room, and sleep with them.

Nowadays, when I can't sleep, I go to the dining room, grab the laptop, and play video games until my eyes get droopy from looking at the screen, continuously.

Usually, people say that if you look at a computer screen, it wakes you up, but my body can sometimes use the screen as a put-me-to-bed remedy at night.

And on the occasional night, that won't work, so I turn to a book to help me sleep.

I remembered another dream!! *Ha*

Okay, so it starts out with me in this warehouse with all these tall, huge shelves with huge boxes on them.

What was in those boxes, I don't know.

But I was marveling at the tall shelves with the huge boxes, when a lady showed up.

She gave me a tour of the warehouse, and it was a big warehouse.

There were aisles and aisles of those shelves with those boxes, and it seemed like we were walking forever!

The lady was talking the whole time, but I can't remember what she was saying.

Even if I did, it probably didn't make any sense.

When we got close to the end of the warehouse, I saw a box, marked "Cherry" or "Cherry Cola" and had the symbol of a pair of cherries.

Then we walked out of the warehouse, I looked at her, she talked, (again I can't remember what she said) later she, either, pushed a button or pulled a rope, but when she was done talking, she did something to make the door to close, and then I woke up.

I hate it when you knew that you had this really awesome or funny dream, and then you try and remember a few days later and... *Rolleyes* What was it again?

That's how I'm feeling right now.

It feels like it goes in three ways for me.

One way is I had a dream, but when I wake up, my memory of that dream is wiped, so when I try and think about that night, I'll pull up a black screen in my mind.

Another is I'm dreaming, but throughout the entire dream, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open. It's like I'm falling asleep in my own dream!!

The last one is when I remember the whole dream the morning I had it, but the next night or second morning, I try to remember, but only can remember bits and pieces and the fact that I loved that dream.

So, sorry that this isn't a good blog post, but I will tell you what I remember of my first dream that I remembered.

I was really young, a toddler, when I had this dream: it was at my local Bi-Lo and I don't know why, but the view was from the top of one of the shelves, almost like I was watching it from a security camera.

But it was the shelf with all the snacks on it, like chips and pretzels, and this isn't vital, but the shelf is near the cold stuff like yogurt, sour cream, mostly juice and dairy products.

But if you remember the movies by Pixar, I think, that when they had the credits, and they got to the credit for THX productions, there was a robot-looking guy, who in the clip I remember, it was "eating?" a tub of ice cream, and when it's there, the THX sign breaks down and it has to fix it, and I can't remember more than that.

Anyway, that robot was in my dream, rolling down the aisle, probably carrying that same tub of ice cream.

There were people walking around, but when they saw it, they moved out of the way, making a path for the robot to go through.

I also remember a little girl with her mom, standing there, looking at the robot in awe.

That's all I remember.

Hope you found that interesting. *Bigsmile*

Well, I've never been to a concert, but I have watched a few funny clips of Twenty One Pilots' concerts.

For instance, the drummer, Josh Dun, is a good drummer, and when people heard that he actually taught himself to play drums, people's jaws dropped to the floor.

Anyway, not only is he good, but he drums with all the power he can give... and ended up breaking one of his drumsticks.

Thankfully, he was still able to keep with the beat with only one drumstick, which he then later threw out to the audience.

Another funny concert moment was when Tyler Joseph did his normal daredevil stunt, only to later have his mike turn off.

Why?

Because he climbed up the side of the area that keeps all the lights up for a band, and he tried to sing the bridge, I think, of the song he was singing, only to find out that when he sang, it sounded like he was talking in a soft, normal voice, when for the recording of the song, he sang the bridge with gusto!

Meaning, he screamed the whole bridge. *Laugh*

He later climbed down and the sound booth guys turned his mike back on.

Now why did they turn his mike off?

Well, it's simple, really.

What he did was a safety hazard, and in order for him to come down, they turned off his mike.

Smart guys. *Smile*
