Wow. What a tangled mess that is. I'm sorry that so much is happening at one time. I've noticed lately that in my case, things seem to happen in threes. I've had many years without those issues, then BOOM. The best you can do is hang in there and ride it out. Pray on it. One day things will be better. At least, that's what works for me.

I've been approached by telephone with those loan offers or even tgat i won a gift, but need to pay for shipping, which means they need to have information to charge it.

I don't trust them, not even some that appear to be legit. Maybe they have a legit looking company icon, yet are a fraud. Anything where I have to share my personal information, I flat out tell them I will not share.

The bank won't give you a loan if there's a bad record of being in debt. Probably the landlord reported it to the credit bureau.

Good luck straightening this all out.

I tell them to stop contacting me, and also Block thier phone number, but they must have a billion phone numbers. They keep doing what they do, yet change thier approach.

Anytime things seem too good to be true. It is too good to be true.

One time PayPal sent what looked like a legit letter, albeit an ensiled one. Paypal does not ask for personal information, which they already have. Rather than have an account. I closed it because back then I didn't understand that it was scammers.

Keep reminding yourself, God is right there with you. So, whatever the situation, you are facing right now, I will pray that God will give you the strength and courage to keep on going.

I'm also fighting within myself and I have some anger and bitterness towards someone right now and it hasn't been easy to let go but I realize I have to let. go and Let Jesus Christ take over for me.

Please take care of yourself.

I'm glad you were able to put your care before caring for your elderly neighbor. It's good that you were able to stand your ground after giving notice.

Glad to hear that things are being sorted out. A car and a dog. Part of me wishes I had both.

Living with someone has been a blessing for me. I go back to my lonely room in Montana next month and may have to ask pointed questions about rent. I cannot afford to pay double what I'm paying. Rich folks are buying second and third houses, turning them into AirBnBs or leaving them empty most of the year. Prices have skyrocketed and rental companies are price-gouging.

I may be forced to relocate to Thailand or elsewhere where at least I can have a nice life without the financial stress. I want to move to Kansas or Iowa but that's more expensive than staying put in Udon Thani.

Choices and decisions. We each face them. Sometimes they have happy endings. Enjoy this moment and hopefully your future decisions work out for the best.

Your very a kind person to have helped her. That being said you also know that she needs more than your able to provide and your looking out for her needs. At least you have given her the opportunity to make a decision about her life. You gave her dignity. I'm praying 🙏🌹 for both of you now, for the Lord to give you strength and compassion to go through this transition.

Mom never wanted be in a nursing home, but ultimately we had to put her there because I was caring for a small daughter and my brother had three teenagers. Sometimes there’s not an easy way to do the right thing, but you are doing the right thing. Rest in the Lord. (Psalm 91:1-4,KJV)

Long-term Prayers

Take UP Your Cross

Prompt:
Tell about a prayer God hasn’t answered yet. What Scripture can you use when praying that will help you?

Answer:
Well the main long-term prayer request I have right now is to get my driver's license. Something keeps coming up every time I try to do it that prevents it. I keep reminding myself of God's sovereignty and that all things work together for my good. When and if the time is right, God will allow it.

The other thing I pray for is for certain people’s salvation. I pray that God will heal their spiritual blindness. I went blank at the moment about the scriptures I like to pray for this. I will try to remember and write about them later. I am sure I have them written down somewhere.

PROMPT July 29th

Your significant other wants to watch a sporting event this weekend. You aren’t a sports fan; in fact you had other plans for the two of you. You love him though, and agree to sit with him to watch the event. Two hours before it starts, he casually remarks, “Ron, George, and Rick are coming over to watch the game with us. Can you make us some snacks and get drinks set up?” Tell us how you react to this casual statement.

I say as long as I am the one sitting next to you and snuggling with you. Lol Either that, you go ahead and spend time with your friends but we need to plan a night for my turn. Technically, I am assuming plans were not discussed with each other, so how can I get angry if he didn't know? I can either join him with his friends or request some time alone with him later to keep the peace. Communication is the key here. I could react upset, but what good would that do? You don't want yourself or him to lose face with his friends and you don't want to not be hospitable to his friends because you are mad at him. That wouldn’t be fare to them. I might tell him what I had planned to do, and see if he would be willing to do it another weekend.

I used to love them as a kid. When I was a little girl visiting my Grandma in Fairfax, Oklahoma (She actually live in Grey Horse, an Indian community not far from there.) The town had an old train engine set up in their playground for the kids to play in and explore. I loved going inside of it and looking around.

If you could change lives with anyone for a month, who would it be? Why? If the exchange went well would you be tempted to ask for longer or would you be content with original time frame? ( Like they say, the grass is always greener on the other side but is it really?.)
