A Little Detour

As you began your trip to Melissa's room, you suddenly became aware that the ground was shaking. You looked up to see that Melissa was running down the hall. She was late for work and was quickly trying to leave. As she ran past you, you grabbed onto her jean leg and began to climb. It was hard to grip the denim but you held on as Melissa got into the car. You were just about to grab onto her white blouse just as the air conditioning started up even before she shut the door. You were caught off guard and was lifted into the air. You tried to direct your fall but to little avail. You looked down to see where you were going to land. You braced yourself for impact and hoped for the best.
