You gave yourself good advice. I've always felt that, if something isn't fun, you're not going to want to do it. Writing stories that appeal to you will make you want to write more. Writing shouldn't be a 'chore', or a thing that you want to get over with. You're certainly on the right track.

FIRST IMPRESSION: This is a beautiful poem about love.

THOUGHTS: Oh my gosh, Sherri, I'll have to tell you a true story...I was in the card shop today, picking out an anniversary card for my husband. Our anniversary isn't until March, but I always like to get these things in advance. Well, nothing in those cards was any where near as pretty as those words you wrote in this lovely poem.

ERRORS: No errors in this outstanding poem.

FAVORITE PART: I can clearly see why this poem already has a ribbon on it...And very well deserved, too.

I can really feel the loving emotion shine through in this poem. What a perfect dedication to one's love.

I enjoy poems that rhyme, and this one has a very soft and delicate rhyme to it.

My very favorite line is, "Throughout the years what we shared became stronger."

I hope you feel better, Sherri, I've been thinking about you a lot.

FIRST IMPRESSION:This is the opening chapter of a story written in verse.

THOUGHTS: Wow! Very creative, Nay! I'm really very impressed. This is a whole new and fresh look that I don't recall ever seeing on our site before. Just the look and feel of it alone made me eager to read this story, and I'm glad I did.

ERRORS: No errors in this stunning work.

FAVORITE PART: I like everything about this piece. If I had to pick only one favorite, it would be the line, "Rabid attention seeking girls sinking lower until they fall." You show talent in beginning each stanza with a word from that line. It really made this piece memorable for me.

The best part is that this is the point of view by the character called, James. Good introduction about that. It gets your readers ready for the story below.

Let's hope we don't get one of these 'mean girls' as president one day~

I enjoyed the catchy phrases you used throughout, like 'machines that run off attention', which makes this story stand out.

The verse flowed smoothly into the introduction of Hayden. Nice work.

FIRST IMPRESSION: This is a rhyming poem about beauty.

THOUGHTS: Oh what a lovely poem! I thought it was really great. I'm partial to poems that rhyme, and yours rhymed especially well.

ERRORS: I didn't see any errors in your enchanting poem.

FAVORITE PART: The rhythm of your poem seemed to flow effortlessly. I loved the thought-provoking meanings and the pleasant, poetic voice.

The ending stanza was beautiful. It makes us understand that beauty can be everywhere -- shade or light.

FIRST IMPRESSION: This is an interesting poll, where we can get an idea of what the poll voters are reading.

THOUGHTS: I picked Science Fiction because that's sort of my 'go-to' genre. Of course I read several other types as well. I think most of us can probably pick at least two from any list.

FAVORITE PART: I was really surprised that no one has voted for the paranormal genre yet. Maybe it might be a slight bit confusing since the Twilight author wasn't listed. Some of those 'modern setting' Paranormals might be confused with 'romance' or 'chick', which I'm sort of confused about myself. This is a great idea for a poll, and I was glad to get to see it. Thanks for putting it together. I'll have to check back now and then as more people vote.

FIRST IMPRESSION: This folder is worthy of a ribbon, and I will be placing one on it.

THOUGHTS: Your bears are fantastic, and your fantasy collection is truly special. I hope lots of people stop by to make good use of your cNotes.

FAVORITE PART: I like the way this folder is set up. You have two very large cNote items, plus all of the artwork. At a glance, your portfolio looks very neat. I thought it would be nice to have a ribbon also on this cNote folder, so I'm starting first with this review.

FIRST IMPRESSION:This is a mysterious real-life story.

THOUGHTS: I LOVED this charming story. I thought it was suspenseful and easy to read.

ERRORS: I didn't find any errors.

FAVORITE PART: Your story held my interest right from the start. The opening line was a fantastic hook, that made me want to read more. The reader doesn't find out the secret to the mystery until it nears the end. I won't give anything away, because this review is on the public page.

I like how you solved the problem. In a way, with my softy heart, I was sympathetic for the culprit. It seems that you anticipated that and added a 'happy ending'.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Vampires and werewolves are very popular right now. It's fun to read an item about that...

THOUGHTS: Was this poll inspired by team Edward/team Jacob? Lots of fun. Thanks for putting it together.

ERRORS: I didn't see any errors.

FAVORITE PART: My daughter and I watch Vampire Diaries all the time. We've also read and watched the Twilight series. I've read books about werewolves and vampires in the past...Including the Anne Rice novels, and I have to say that I don't remember them this popular before.

SUGGESTIONS: It would be nice to see a longer introduction...Perhaps mention some of the many books and movies about Vampires and Werewolves.

FIRST IMPRESSION: I learned a lot from this item about the lives of our people in regard to other nations.

THOUGHTS: What a pretty heading! I love the colorful images. I think they go well with the item.

ERRORS: I didn't see any errors.

FAVORITE PART: I was happy to see a variety of choices. Now that my children are grown, I can travel with my husband on some of his business trips. He works for a global company, so he gets to travel a lot. This month, I will be going with him to Mexico City, and then towards the end of the month, I will be going with him to England/Ireland. I've been to Australia and also to France. I learned so much about the people of other countries, their money, etc.

My son and his wife moved last year to England. I love when I get to go with my husband on his business trips there, because I get to see them. My husband and I also made lots of friends in these other countries, and we get to see them as we travel. ...I also have a WDC friend who I meet with whenever I go to Australia!

Yes, with our modern world...the internet...airplane travel...It is indeed a small world!

FIRST IMPRESSION: This is a tribute to Xcaret, Mexico.

THOUGHTS: This almost seems to be written as a song lyric. Maybe I'll hear the mariachis singing this song someday...

FAVORITE PART: I liked that you wrote a rhyming story. I don't see too many of those, so this was pleasant to find.

I have been to Xcaret, since I usually stay in Playa Del Carmen. You brought back memories of that cold water of the lazy river...Though you didn't quite stress just how shockingly cold it was! LOL

SUGGESTIONS: Maybe you might consider adding one more verse about some more of Xcaret. You mentioned there were animals there. I would have liked to hear more about them...Did you go on the boat ride? Swim with the Dolphins? Snorkel?

FIRST IMPRESSION: What an awesome picture of railroad tracks!

THOUGHTS: Hi Sophy! I was checking out some travel stories, when I came across your picture. I thought this was a good time to stop by to say hello.

FAVORITE PART: My gosh! How would one take this picture? One would probably have to stand there on the tracks...But isn't that a cliff next to it?

Well, you did say that it was taken from the train. That's better, though it still looks like a scary ride.

I remember once my son needed a picture of train tracks for who knows what in school. It was the only time that I actually paused on the tracks while he quickly shot the picture. Normally, I get across as quickly as I can. LOL
