'Her embrace covers me like second skin' and 'the bosom of the night is a world uncharted' are without parallel. From beginning to end a very 'tight' piece with 'the story in your eyes' (Moody Blues). Enjoyable and well written.
Well written with a lot of heart. Pure innocent flailing in emptiness from wronging. We all hurt and hurt. Very often without knowing what we do. A change in character and/or life character is what is needed more than sorry. Also being able to respond to, and 'baby' that other soul. helps a great deal.
Heart-swollen with feeling. At points, the lineage seems slightly uneven, along with the rhyme scheme. Put to music I am sure this would 'sound' differently. Do you plan to put this to music? Do you write music? I am soulfully unable to create that music which I wish I could.

Given what was happening, and happened, the reader is continually drawn farther and farther in wanting to know what was happening while being skeptical and a little bit afraid st the same time. Absolutely. Songs are notes to words which to me involve so much more than the original meaning. The words carry the tune into a different place, while the music carries the words along with it. If only I could write that music which creates melody for the words to be so involved.
