Times I wonder where I am, and where I ought to be.

Aimlessly kicking rocks around the thought permeates my being. That thought of where I am, and where I once had been.

Thinking those who loved me true, and shared with me their soul. The deepest well of passions age, I lived and died that's sure.

Aching want to seize those times their love and gentle score. Raging time, kicking rocks, blame screeching loud selfish egos' scorn.

The kicked rocks dance coaxing thoughts of romance, and how I longed once more to be where I'd once been. A man who walked his way, with the love of them my cure.

Raging war within my head, grotesque like cut off limbs. Trotting now the rocks are gone from my cleared stroll. Enjoyed so much I unknowingly wander from my path in search of them to kick some more, and underscore my need to grow again.

To be a man, and sow again what makes me bring them joy and happiness from within.

Grand was the scheme that would unfold for him the day when the rain pelts the shore.

That boat that he thought was his by the dock will go straight to the Atlantic Oceans cold floor.

The time she will sink quick as a wink for him who'd not know of sinking to come.

You see, he'd robed, and stole from those he promised gold, if they'd just invest in his boat, and him.

The great riches to come from this man who had found the spring waters of life in that cave past the cove where his boat found the way.

Collected and bottled on his boat by his own hand, to sell to the people who had made him and his boat rich and grand.

Such simple words so often herd then lost in the humming of time.
Want humming knowingly, along the the passage that's mine.
Grace the heart with a rhyme.

The passion's wave I go now under,
The great wave immersed me smothered.
Passion's wave dark ocean calling

Empty Words

If you want to be a peaceful being,
Then use words of peace, not rage.
Don't speak to me in vengeance child
Gross anger leads your phrase.

Trim that tone in judgmental shame.
Your wrinkled brow showing ignorance praised.
Your anger shows me war and rage.
Peace is not what you show your way.

Know passion does not make it right.
The ugly cults of yesteryear have all held
A vile passion raged their sight.
In that mirror look,

Taking off your dark shade to see
The full spectrum of God's light.
Your ignorance in that rage you'll see.
You will see truth in light.

Be kind in word and deed,
If you think peace is what you'll be.
Please child don't say you are peaceful when
Your actions betray each word.

As I watch the dark Ocean
Crash upon the rocky shore.
Cold white mist exploding
Waves come glazing rock once more,
Power summoned up each time,
From the Oceans floor
Surge to crash that millionth time
Again, and again, paid sure.
Spark thought yesteryear had built
Etched in fine detail life endures.

“Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven."

-Jesus Christ

And I walked the road a long way to reach there; miles alone, on gravel ground. I guess I'll take my time to get there, known the long walk there was mine. Reach there still I will, through the long walk, in warm sun chasing behind, and me upon it shines. And I walked the road a long way to reach there with my life.

"Integrity, whether at work or at home, is not the sort of thing you work on every now and then. You don't set aside one day a month to work on your integrity much like you might pay your bills. It's something we have to address almost 24/7 because of the insidious nature of dishonesty, which always presents us with small, seemingly insignificant openings. Few people actually decide to outright lie or cheat; rather, they find themselves taking shortcuts out of convenience. I read somewhere that according to a company that conducted 3.8 million background checks on people applying for jobs, more than half lied on their resumes.4 These aren't horrible people or chronic liars but ordinary citizens like you and me who think those little white lies are okay and will never be caught anyway. Unfortunately, even if they are never caught, they erode our standards and make it easier to make duplicity the norm.

In 1912, Leon Leonwood Bean started a mail order business in Greenwood, Maine, by selling a hunting boot with a money-back guarantee. However, defects in the design led to 90 percent of them being returned. Making good on the guarantee could ruin his fledgling business, but Leon kept his word, corrected the design, and continued selling the boots. L.L. Bean is now one of the largest mail-order companies in the United States, in large part because it has continued the tradition of treating its customers with integrity.

Being a [person] of your word is not always easy, and like Leon Bean, you will make mistakes along the way. But if you treat your [spouse] and loved ones the way Mr. Bean treated his customers, you will enjoy a long and fruitful relationship with them as they realize that you love them enough."

"And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly."

- Christ Jesus
