My old bones find this episode of "The Young and Energetic" exhausting. But at least I'll blush less next time something "good" happens and I feel moved to share.

Just breathe. I've never thought you to be anything less than formidable, but even the mighty have moments like these. Just breathe, stop worrying about the things you can't control and accept that there will be days, or even weeks, when things won't feel safe and warm. You will get through it, promise. Go outside, sit somewhere quiet and let reality in. Sometimes that works for me, and let me tell you, I know what you're talking about.

It's going to be okay, and I don't say that lightly. Breathe and be, my friend.

I hear alarms going off... I've been through some very rough times and this feels too much like what I went through. Different details, but that same malaise.

So I guess that means you have a new romantic interest? Because you don't seem like the type to be hiring a male prostitute. The last entry was titled "i started seeing a therapist..." Was that a play on words to imply you're dating one? Or at least doing the horizontal mambo with one? In either case, tales of sexual escapades would certainly be more interesting than a survey or a link to your contest. So out with the details, woman!

Wow, how did you find out it was swine flu? I'm sick with the flu and am developing this dry cough...getting paranoid, wondering when/if I should go to the doctor...

Well, I guess you can use it as an excuse to stay in pajamas, judge FTL entries and watch Johnny Depp movies for the next ten days.

Take care of yourself, obviously. Rest, drink fluids and whatever you're supposed to do when you have this thing. I hate that you have it, but probably not as much as you do.

You've inspired me to get the shot when it becomes available.
