What we've got here is failure to cogitate...

I'm afraid this week's entry is crap—
something inside my mind has gone snap.
I don't have the first clue
about what I should do,
so I'll bale out and shut my damn yap.

Try to find a rhyme for susurrus
and you'll find it an absolute bust.
See? I had to cheat there.
It's a bugger, I swear,
but do give it a go if you must.

I then thought I'd try with horizon,
write stuff you could all cast your eyes on.
But this one's even worse—
as I'm stuck for a verse,
my decision to pass is a wise one.

I'll be back next week for the new prompt,
when I'm sure I'll be back in my...pomp???
Damn, these rhymes are real bad,
it could drive a man mad,
so I'll just finish off with...um...ah, to hell with it...
