My thoughts released; a mind set free

Session One, Complete
I had my first round of chemo on Monday, four rounds at the cancer center, and then a portable pump for another 24-hour dose that was removed this afternoon. So far, so good; some minor issues, but nothing severe. I still have my appetite, I'm not nauseous, and feeling pretty good. I am fatigued, though. This, however, was present before I started the chemo; I have some lab issues that need to be corrected.

I talked with a dietitian who is helping to correct some of the lab issues, and I've had some infusions to help with the other areas that are out of range. I get two weeks before my next session of chemo, and they will do a full lab then to see how things are going.

I'm hoping that with things getting corrected I'll have a bit more energy in the days to come, and now that things are started I'll be sleeping better nights. Hopefully I'll be a  it more active here again soon.
