| Prompt: Joy asked us about libraries. She asked if we go to libraries and if libraries would ever be a thing of the past. Mom and I used to go to the library years ago for years. I got a Nook and started to download books. Mom got a kindle and played games on it. She ordered books in the mail and she and her friend traded books. I don't read anymore like I used to. I buy a Danielle Steel book. Anymore, I read stories on line. I haven't been to the library in a long time. Libraries. People research online. They buy ebooks. Kids study but they do everything online. I do. I don't know. Libraries may be a thing of the past but those of us who love books. I think we will still want and love physical ones. |
