Situational Ethics
Free speech is tricky.

1. Some people think it’s wrong for a person to lose a job because of something that person said.

2. Some people think it’s wrong for a person to be killed for something that person said.

There are people who think the exact opposite of one or both of these views.

Some who used to agree with both now only agree with one of them.

That’s the main problem with situational ethics. A lot depends on who you ask and their attitudes toward those involved.

That’s why I like the concept of absolute truth, right and wrong. It doesn’t depend on how anyone feels about it.
