Celestial Demon or E.T?



I would like astronomer Dr. Neil Degrassi Tyson to answer my question.
I am not an astronomer or expert on meteors.
There is an object approaching Earth at very high speed.

NASA has identified its' speed as close to the speed of light.
It regulates its' speed down and then up.
It is a long cylinder.

Is Earth being invaded?
It should be here by Christmas.
Maybe, it's Santa?

Does anyone have an answer?
