A book to house all my Poetic Explorations |
As I walk along the road With my face in sullen mode My fevered sweat starts to fall From my forehead it begins to roll. That trembling noon-tide beam Like dancing pebbles, strewn in the wind In the distance, it constantly glares Like evening starlight flare. The angry sun, showers his heat In my head, it painfully beat And I can't bear this extreme pain I do wish that it would rain. As I walk along the track Those shining clouds turns to black As the wind casts their breath So calm, so cold, brought the breeze. The darkness then starts to roll As the rain begins to fall The coolness they brought to me Makes me feel the trembling of my knee. Those raindrops that angrily beat The cold water around my feet I can't bear the cold that penetrates I do wish to walk beneath the sun's heat. |
