Home Run

We went to a concert last night. Lauren Mascitti of American Idol fame and Joe Nichols. It was the last night of the RIDE event here in town.

Great lot of fun. People eating, drinking, dancing, visiting with each other. Old, young, in between. Babes in arms and children running about. It rained earlier in the afternoon, thanks be to God! But the night cooled off and the fireworks show was astounding.

Joe Nichols stated that 'home' is the most powerful word in the English language, per Shakespeare. I got to thinking of that.

Home means love, safety, peace, acceptance, and joy.
