A new update
It's a good day to start a story. I'm going to expand on a story I wrote for class in Writing. It's a story about a couple that meets cute in Central Park. They haggle over a painting's reproduction, of Seurat's work, set in Paris. She insists on buying it from the seller and he said he was just about to hand over the payment. They deciide to agree that he buy it and she can visit it whenever she wanted to. It's a story only. I doubt it ever happens in real life. But she starts to like the guy who's got a strong personality. The guy's a spy for MI5. They live in NYC. She's a flibertigibet. She likes to go for these jaunts to look for interesting things to buy and take home to her mother's apartment in 92nd Street,Upper East side.
She's really rich, and can afford anything. So gets upset with this man who insists he's bought it from under her nose.
That's the gist of the story so far.
Idon't know if it will fly with readers. What do you all think this as a premise for a story? Hint: The picture this man bought has to do with his spy business.
