Autumn is here - A Tanka form
Summer is finished,
Autumn's promise is now here.
Cozy in my wrap,
I savor my hot coffee
And bask in the cooler temps.





The Tanka is an ancient Japanese form with five unrhymed lines structured in 5, 7, 5, 7, 7 syllables, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
