| I heard today, a song - before early dawn before the light of the stars had withdrawn, before the sun could his morning glory show by casting his golden light upon the snow. I smiled in surprise at this bright, cheerful song that rang out in the bleakness of winter morn, The song of returning, the song of his quest, a covenant of mates as they built their nest. A song for the hopeful to rise up and sing. A song of the future our hard work can bring. A promise that winter, must give way to spring.
