I've always liked my hair parted on the left - I see the sweep of my overgrown fringe join the wave that frames my face, but what I see isn’t right. The mirror holds a different image than the one your phone has instagrammed. This creature with the sagging jaw, I do not know her at all. Her smile is more crooked, her skin less firm.
