The Star - Week 22

There were three that saw the star

Three that had studied the sky
knew every light and its movement,
chronicled the progression of the heavens,
steady and predictable.

Then they saw the star.


They may have been astronomers,
scientists or scholars.
The light it beckoned them
and so they sought its source.


And when the star stopped in the sky,
they marvelled at the sight
of the child whose face shone,
with an even greater light.
