Dreams

You wish to engage your unconscious in a conversation
I do have to say that is a very worthy intention
As those archetypal types like to communicate at night
Though their symbolism is solid even in the harshest light

Be careful lest you imagination's suddenly alight
That kind of inspiration can give your body quite a fright
Notwithstanding that you may not like what's lurking deep in there
Dark secrets can be frightening so it's best to have a care

Unconsciously we congregate where everyone has a share
Dream soundly and your experience then subsequent compare
Myths and tales and visions your imagination excite
Then some flash of understanding will your hidden self delight

Somnambulant though searching through your dreams as there to invite
A passing on of knowledge ordinarily out of sight
As an ever growing mastery of interpretation
Ensures proactive dreams are your ultimate education
