For 27 years
I served as a foreign Service officer.
A U.S. Diplomat
Representing the U.S.
Around the world
And in Washington, DC.

I served in ten countries

Antigua
Barbados
Dominica
Grenada
India
South Korea
Spain
St. Kitts
St Lucia
St. Vincent
Thailand.

I did everything

From issuing visas, passports
notarial services
Blogging about program evaluations
Serving as a program evaluator
Helping American businesses
Helping Americans who got into trouble
visiting prisoners and people in hospitals
coordinating relief efforts after a major earthquake
Organizing conferences
Coordinating classes
teaching classes on fraud investigation
Investigating visa and passport fraud
Serving as a labor officer
Serving as a commercial officer
Serving as a human rights officer
Serving as an economics officer
Serving as an environmental officer

And through it all
I was always proud
To serve my country

And make the world
A better place
Winning friends
And influencing people

Promoting American values
Around the world
