A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

The 'What a Character' Prompt
The ‘What a Character’
Prompt

I was right about what the WDC prompt was for this month. It is the ‘What a Character’ prompt. I was also right that this prompt would come in within the next twenty-four hours from when I posted my blog entry in my other blog, Only My Scriptwriting. It came in just after I checked to see if it had come in yet. I did it right before I went to sleep last night.

Luckily, I got up for personal reasons a few hours later. Out of curiosity, I checked to see if this prompt had come in yet, and it did just after I went to sleep last night. I think that is the second month in a row it has done that. I think it has done that before, but I can’t remember when it happened or how many times it has happened before.

By the time I had woken up today to start getting ready to work early this evening, I had remembered a Short Story that fit this prompt. I even had it already written out in my head. All I needed to do was start writing it, which I will do when I get to work early this evening and early tomorrow morning. After all, I have finished the setup for it.

With my last work post, I went to work just before midnight WDC time. That meant I had to write my blog entries for that night and post them before I could go to work every Friday evening. I’m still doing that now, but with this new work post, I’m heading into work about six hours earlier. Why am I writing this in this blog entry today?

It’s because of my work schedule now. With my last work post, I may have had a few extra hours to work on setups, spreadsheets, short stories, my scriptwriting projects, etc., but I didn’t have the time to do any of these things. I barely had the time to do a blog entry for that day before I went to work at eleven PM WDC Time.

I may only have a few hours less to do these extra things before I go to work, but I am able to do them. Why can I do them on Saturday when I couldn’t do them on Friday? I think it’s because it’s Saturday instead of Friday. Why am I writing all this? It’s because I will start writing this Short Story when I return to work in a few hours.

Will I be able to write this Short Story at work this weekend? If I remember correctly, I did it last month. There is no reason why I can’t also do it this month. I only need to do five or six every day this weekend. Since I have twelve-hour shifts this weekend, I will have about two hours for each Section/Part. That should be plenty of time to write it.

If I remember correctly, I wrote most of my WDC Short Story last month, early Saturday evening and early Sunday morning. I think that I wrote seven Parts/Sections during those twelve hours. There is no reason why I can’t do it again this month. I won’t count on that happening until it does, though. After all, I have thought that way before.

I hope that I can write this WDC Short Story like I did last month, if not faster than last month. If I can do that, I may also have some time to work on my Water Wars scriptwriting project this weekend. Usually, I’m working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project while I’m at work, but this WDC Short Story takes priority over that.
