A Slight Change Becomes a Major One
A Slight Change
Becomes a Major One

It happened again when I was trying to go to sleep last night. I was thinking about the first four Episodes of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, and I decided I didn’t like the way each Episode ended with a different character. There were two ways I could handle this decision.

One way is to use the second spreadsheet format with the same character beginning and ending each Episode. The only problem with that is that there would be an Act between the other two main characters. There would also be a scene between these two characters at the end of Act Two and the beginning of Act Three. I didn’t like that concept either.

The only other way around that is to add a fourth character to these Episodes, like I did with a four-part mini-series. I like that concept because it meant I could add a DeathBringer storyline to those Episodes. After all, I did it for the two-part Movie Introduction that is now a four-part mini-series.

There wasn’t too much of a storyline involved with Episode One. Still, they were very active in the other three Episodes in the first four episodes that start this anthology television series. Creating a DeathBringer storyline as a fourth storyline wasn’t that hard to do, especially for three of them. It wasn’t that hard for Episode One, either.

I did have some problems with writing up these storylines into a spreadsheet format. That’s because I didn’t want it to be like the mini-series where the two main female characters had scenes back to back, and the two main male characters had scenes back to back.

At first, that’s all I wanted to do: make them different from the mini-series. It started with one female or male, followed by a male or female. The same for the other two characters in each Episode Act. Using the mini-series as an example, it would be Sarha, Wimmon, Feome, and Boalim for the Teaser Act from Part One of this mini-series.

After I finished working on these fourth storylines for the first four Episodes of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, I started working on my spreadsheet. While I was working on this spreadsheet, I realized that I needed to do the same format for the mini-series as well.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get the spreadsheet updated for these four Episodes today. I almost got it done, but I didn’t quite make it. That means I didn’t get to update the mini-series under this format, either. Unfortunately, I ran out of time today to finish this part of the project. It will probably be Monday before I can continue working on it.

Of course, I will try to work on this project tomorrow afternoon before I go back to work at six PM WDC time, but I may not have enough time tomorrow to work on it. If I’m lucky, I may get the Episodes part of this spreadsheet done tomorrow, but I won’t count on that happening until it does.
