A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
A Very Bad Early Yesterday Evening and Early This Morning Maybe it was the temperature, or maybe it was the cold/flu/pneumonia I have been fighting and losing lately. Whatever the reason, I only got one hundred and sixty-three sentences written during my twelve-hour shift early yesterday evening and early this morning. Why did I only get one hundred and sixty-three sentences during this shift? If it’s not for one or both of the reasons above, I don’t know why I didn’t get more written yesterday and this morning. I know that I had a lot of problems concentrating. Was that the reason? Could it have been because of the temperature or the cold/flu/pneumonia? I think both of them could be part of it. Then again, maybe they weren’t. The good news is that I finished writing Part Four of the mini-series for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Unfortunately, the bad news is that I didn’t get as much written as I thought last Sunday evening and Monday morning. I only got two hundred and seven-eight sentences written during that twelve-hour shift. That’s still a lot of sentences. It just not the three hundred and three sentences I thought that I wrote last Sunday evening and Monday morning. I only got fifty sentences written for the Part Four Scene Outline instead of the seventy-five I thought I would get written. That means I still had a hundred sentences to write before I finished writing Part Four of this mini-series. Unfortunately, that took me about seven hours of my twelve-hour shift to finish writing these hundred sentences. Why did it take me so long to write these sentences? One of the reasons is that I rewrote Act Two several times. I thought it was Act Four, but it was Act Two. What’s the difference? Act Two was for the Special WaterStructure. Act Four was for Ultimate Confinement. I think it’s because I kept thinking that Act Two was Act Four. After all, that’s the way it was written for my two-part Movie Introduction. It still is in Part Four of this mini-series, but it’s Act Two instead of Act Four. Does that make any sense? It isn’t very clear to me, and I’m writing it. I only had about three hours to work on Part Five of this mini-series, and during those three hours, I only got sixty-three sentences written. That’s twenty-one sentences every hour or about four paragraphs. Now that I look at it, twenty-one sentences and four paragraphs don’t sound too bad. At least it doesn’t to me. Why is it only about ten hours for a twelve-hour shift? That’s because it was a Saturday evening and a Sunday morning. It was very busy during that twelve-hour shift. I think that was one of the reasons why I only got one hundred and sixty-three scenes written early yesterday evening and early this morning, but was it the only reason? What’s left for me to write before I finish writing the sentences for this mini-series? That leaves me one hundred and seventy-seven sentences to write before I finish writing it. Will I get that many written later this evening and tomorrow morning? Normally, I would answer yes, but yesterday and last Sunday, I’m not so sure anymore. |
