I have always found
Waiting in line
Waiting for something
Waiting for someone
To be a bit annoying.

I cope by always
Having my phone charged up
And I read my news.

Update my ever-expanding to-do list
Or I read my Kindle
Or a book.

Or daydream
Or write a poem
Or a thought for a story.

Or listen to music
Or a podcast
Or two.

Or do a duolingal
Language lesson.

Or sometimes
Just chill out.

Taking a few minutes
Power nap
To recharge.

While passing time
Waiting for something
Or someone.

Write about the feelings you experience or things you notice
while waiting for something.
