Just things that I think about now and then. |
I've never seen the Northern Lights for myself, only videos of them. They are gorgeous as they flicker through the evening sky. A breathtaking sight to be sure. I've seen videos of ice hotels where one could enjoy (?) a night's sleep on blocks of ice with warm animal pelts to cozy up in. I'm not all that sure I'm that adventurous any more. The thought, though, is intriguing. The Chena hot springs soak sounds more my speed. I've always enjoyed a hot tub, and these springs sound amazing. I'd love to enjoy a soak with my fellow travelers - Sounds perfect to me. I've never really been interested in a Caribbean cruise. I'd rather an Alaskan cruise, with the opportunity to possibly see whales, and an occasional moose or bear...from a distance, please. Glaciers and rustic furniture, timberlands and train rides. These would probably take a tole on me, but I'd definitely try to get a little strength in order to reach this real life bucket list destination. To me it would be worth the cost of flying to Seattle, or other such port and going north. I really wouldn't mind any time of the year. I've lived in Northern Michigan winters, so the cold is just something to deal with. Ha! Tagging Lyn's a Witchy Woman ![]() ![]() ![]() |
