Just Enough Time Barely

I’m running out of time today. I only have about fifty minutes before the end of today WDC time to finish writing this blog entry, and the end of the day before I miss another blogging day, and I don’t want to do that again. So, this might be another short blog entry.

It’s not that I don’t have a lot to write about today, because I do, but it’s not as much as I wanted to get done today. Once again, I barely got seventy-five sentences written for Part Four, ‘Five Billion DeathBringers,’ of my four-part mini-series written today.

It was a total lose, though. I did end Part Four and this mini-series. Why didn’t I get more written today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get more written in a day? It’s because of what my brother and I needed to accomplish today. It wasn’t a lot, but it was time-consuming.

From early this morning until almost dusk, my brother and I had one thing after another that we needed to get done today. As a result, I barely got seventy-five sentences written in about four hours. One again, I got about twenty-one sentences written every hour.

Which also means that I averaged about four paragraphs every hour. That doesn’t read like too many paragraphs every hour, and it isn’t, but it’s about average for me. Sometimes I will get a few more paragraphs written in an hour. Unfortunately, this wasn’t one of those days either.

‘Barely’ that I have been writing about in this blog entry may be a little bit exaggerated. After all, I did have about half an hour left at the end of today. That wasn’t enough time to start Episode One, ‘Everyone Should Know,’ for my anthology television series.

It was enough time to go into these sentence documents, aka the Act Breakdown, the Story Outline, and the Scene Outline, and it’s a good thing that I did check them out. I haven’t updated them with the new four-character format yet. At least I haven’t with these documents.

I have written another document, titled ‘DeathBringers – The First Four Episodes.’ This document gives the names of the four main characters for these episodes and their synopses. It also gives an Act Breakdown for these characters and episodes. Now all I need to do is the sentence Act Breakdown.

That’s not all, though. I also have to do a lot of erasing and updating for my Story Outlines, Scene Outlines, and my spreadsheet format. That, I will start tomorrow. Depending on what my brother and I need to do tomorrow, I don’t know if I will get this updating done tomorrow.

As you have probably already guessed, this isn’t a short blog entry after all. That’s the way it is for me most of the time. I think that what I have to write about won’t be too long of a blog entry for one reason or another, and it turns out not to be one. This is one of those blog entries.
