I believe that our works will be judged by God in the purifying fire of intent. If the intent is pure the works shall remain. If the works are just "for show" or for one's own benefit, then all that shall remain will be ash. Our eternal reward shall be what comes through the fire unscathed.

Lord, there are so many people that are hurting, or going through trials that I cannot even imagine. I pray that Your grace and mercy shall cover them. Guide and protect them and give them Your peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus' name.

I don't really hear God's voice so much as I feel His leading in a certain direction. Especially after having immersed myself in His Word, I get a "gentle nudge" in the direction I feel He is leading me.




Scripture writing prompt: 1 Corinthians 3:13 - Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Prayer prompt: Pray for someone going through a tough season of life. Use Philippians 4:7 to ask God to cover them in His peace that transcends all understanding during this time.
