A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Back to Work, But Not Back to Water Wars I’m ready to start writing my paragraph Story and Scene Outlines for my Water Wars scriptwriting project, but I’m not going to do that right now. Instead, I’m going to get caught up on the sentence Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines for my other scriptwriting projects. I have already started doing this for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. So far, I have finished the sentences for my four-part mini-series. Now, I’m ready to continue working on the first four episodes of this anthology television series. I have finished writing Episode One, and I’m almost finished with Episode Two, but I’m about to change these Episodes slightly. The only current scriptwriting projects I haven’t been working on so far are my movies, ‘The Final Ritual’ and ‘Skinless.’ I have been working on ‘The Final Ritual’ off and on for over a century, mostly off for the last few years. That was when it was a two-part Episodic-like movie. What do I mean by ‘off and on, but mostly off’? It means that I have been concentrating on working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project for the last five or so years. I have checked in on my ‘The Final Ritual’ scriptwriting project a little bit lately, but I haven’t done anything to it because I have been concentrating on my water Wars scriptwriting project. At least I haven’t until now. Now, I’m starting to work on my sentences again for this project. Why am I updating this project? It’s because I was writing my sentence Act Breakdown, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines as though it were two episodes. That’s not what I’m doing now. Now, this movie is going to be a three or four-part episode project. Why am I doing it like this now? It’s because these movies are a lot like my Water Wars and DeathBringers scriptwriting projects. I need to go into the background storylines that I had to do with my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. ‘The Final Ritual’ was also crammed together. I’m not sure if I will write this episodic mini-series as a three or four-part mini-series. I haven’t decided how I’m going to write these movies now. Right now, it will be a two-hour and forty-eight-minute movie if I write this movie as a four-part mini-series movie. That may be okay if it’s an Action/Adventure, but it’s not for a Drama. At least I don’t think that it should be. Even two hours is a little long for a Drama, but it’s not too bad if it is that long. I know cutting out all the extra Act Titles, most of the FADE INs and FADE OUTs, and the Act Titles starting new pages will drop down on these pages totals. I don’t think it will drop them down that much when I convert these episodic parts to a movie script format. All this shouldn’t affect my ‘Skinless’ movie. After all, I haven’t hardly done anything with this movie so far. I have done a little bit with it, though. |
