A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
The DeathBringers, Centering, and Coloring I just checked at about eleven PM WDC time, and neither prompt for the WDC Short Story Contest nor the second Short Story Contest that I entered when there is one hasn’t been posted yet. I’m not surprised about either one of them, especially the second Short Story. After all, I never know if there is one until it’s posted. I have been checking on these prompts every few hours all day today. When I wasn’t checking on them, I continued working on the update for the first four episodes for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project, aka the first four episodes for this anthology television series. The good news is that I finished updating these documents. The bad news is that it took me a lot longer than I thought it would to update my Act breakdowns, my Story Outlines, and my Scene Outlines. I know I only had a few hours to work on this project today, but I still have been able to start writing my sentences for these documents. Why didn’t I get started writing my sentences for these documents? The reason why I didn’t get started writing these sentences is that I barely got this updating accomplished today. It wasn’t because of the time I had to work on them, though. It’s because of the three reasons that me so long to finish these updates. One of those reasons is the DeathBringers, which will be a big part of these episodes. These television episodes are a little different than most of my other television episodes’ Story Outlines. That’s because under each Act Title, I added a sentence for the DeathBringer in that episode. They don’t have a storyline of their own anymore, but they will be a big part of these episodes. That is why they are under these Act Titles. These DeathBringer storylines under these Act Titles weren’t my biggest problem, though. After all, they only took me about an hour to an hour and a half to add them to these episodes. It was the centering and the colorization that took me the longest to update, especially the centering, because I didn’t know I needed to do them. I didn’t have a problem with three of the four episode Story Outlines, but I did with one of them. It was the centering of the Episode Titles and the Act Titles. For these three documents, they were set up for sixty characters for each line, but the indent for these documents was for sixty-five-character lines. I still don’t know why this happened. I also had a problem with my colorization of these documents. After all, I use black for the males, red for the females, and blue for the fives and tens scenes. With all the copying and pasting I did in my sentence Act Breakdowns, Story Outlines, and Scene Outlines, I had a lot of colorization updating that I needed to do with these documents. Unfortunately, these sentences will need to wait until at least Monday before I can start plugging them into these documents. After all, I still have at least one Short Story that I will be writing this month. I don’t know if I will be working on it this weekend. Whether I work on it or them this weekend, I will be working on them next week. Unfortunately, I still don’t know about this weekend yet. As of the beginning of this blog entry today, neither prompt had been posted yet. One or both of them may come in before I return to work early tomorrow evening, and maybe they won’t. If one or both of them are prompted, I will start working on them while at work this weekend. |
