I got twelve hundred and eleven words written since early yesterday evening and early this morning for my WDC Short Story for this month. It’s a twelve-hour shift, but I only had about nine hours to work on this Short Story. That’s almost one hundred and fifty words every hour.

Unfortunately, I was very busy at work early yesterday evening and early this morning. That’s why I only got twelve hundred and eleven words written so far on my WDC Short Story for this month. The number of hours I had to work on this Short Story isn’t the only reason why I only got twelve hundred and eleven words written during these twelve hours.

This WDC Short Story is a little bit different from most of my short stories. Usually, I write three or four paragraphs about the short stories I’m writing. These paragraphs aren’t a part of these short stories. They are only there to help me write my short stories. That isn’t true this time.

Something else that isn’t true about this WDC Short Story is that there are no Sections/Parts in this WDC Short Story. Usually, I have five to ten Parts/Sections for these short stories, and it’s normally ten Sections/Parts. I also have sentences for these Parts/Sections. This WDC Short Story also doesn’t have any of these sentences.

I’m writing this WDC Short Story freestyle. That means to me that I don’t know how this WDC Short Story will turn out. I know the basic storyline, but I’m writing it as I go along. A lot of writers write this way, if not most or all of them, but this is something somewhat new to me.

I think I have written a Short Story this way once or twice, but I don’t think it was a WDC Short Story. It may have been, but I don’t think it was. So far, I like the way this WDC Short Story has been going, but now I’m getting to the inside of it. I don’t know where it’s going from here. Another reason why I only got twelve hundred and eleven today.

With only about seven hundred and fifty words left before I finish writing this WDC Short Story, I should get it done later on this evening and early tomorrow morning. I’m not going to count on that until it happens. After all, I have thought that way before about something like this.

As for whether I will be writing a second Short Story for this month, I don’t know that yet. I don’t have any internet privileges where I work. That means I can’t access WDC until I get home from work today. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I could check out WDC on my cell phone, and I still might do that, but it’s not easy for me to do it.

I just looked, and it doesn’t look like I will be doing a second Short Story this month. Of course, a prompt for this contest could still show up, but that’s doubtful. After all, the host for this contest hasn’t reviewed my last Short Story entry, and there aren’t any upcoming prompt posts yet.
