50 STB - Happy Clam - Rhode Island

I love Newport, Rhode Island and I’m so happy A Warped Witch I Be picked Newport to visit. The first time I went was in the 11th grade for a high school field trip. I took about 2 ½ hours to get there from New Hampshire. I fell in love with Newport! I loved all the mansions. They took my breath – and imagination – away. I also liked how close they were to the ocean. It was invigorating to the soul.

I’m all excited to go to Newport. It’s all I can talk about on the Party Bus. I showed everyone my pictures and got them all pumped up, too. Maid of the Mist Most Macabre had to squeeze the party bus through some of the more narrower streets. There’s a lot of bridges in Rhode Island. I made her stop on main street and took everyone shopping. Morticia Wednesday Megan Rose found a new Kate Spade purse with whales on it. I bought one too.

I took A Warped Witch I Be , Giant Phantom Jelly , Maid of the Mist Most Macabre and AmyJo-Zombie hours to the Shore Soap Company. I love their products! They’re a body based soap company and I love their shampoo, body wash, and pet wash. We all stocked up.

Then we went to Anchor Bend Glassworks where they showed us how to blow glass. Spooky Kooky Krista WakeUpAndLive~gummy worms BOO and AmyJo-Zombie hours loved learning how to blow glass. They got to blow an item and keep it!

Then we were off to the mansions. We went to the Breakers first. The Breakers is my most FAVORITE mansion. The views of the ocean from the balcony are amazing. Morticia Wednesday Megan Rose loved seeing the fancy mansions. The Gilded age was filmed at Marble House.

We toured through the mansion. Everyone ooh’d and ahh’d at the marble staircase. The kitchen really impressed Reluctant Halloweenist and A Warped Witch I Be . We even walked around the grounds and did the cliffwalk with its stunning views of the ocean. Spooky Kooky Krista took a bunch of photos for her Instagram. Heck, I did the same! I’m not much of a Instagram person but Spooky Kooky Krista is teaching me.



For dinner, we went to Flo’s Clam shack. They have the BEST fried Clams this side of New England. Reluctant Halloweenist loved it. They good options for A Warped Witch I Be and Giant Phantom Jelly . I, of course, got the fried clams. I can honestly say I’m a happy clam and this is one visit I won’t forget!
