A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Into the Sentences Today
Into the Sentences Today

Unfortunately, I thought that I was finished setting up the synopsis part of my latest movie, ‘The Lives of Billia and Helleni.’ I was done with the paragraph synopsis for the twelve Acts in this movie, but I still had some Character Names and Title sentences that I needed to do for these paragraph Acts.

It didn’t take me too long to update this part of my setup for this movie. I did it after I erased all the single sentences back to their Character Names and Titles, and that didn’t take me too long to accomplish, either. Overall, it took me about three hours to finish this part of the setup for this movie.

I still had plenty of time today to start writing the sentences for this movie. Of course, I had to adjust some of the Storyline Titles within these Acts for almost every Act so that I wouldn’t duplicate these Titles. What do I mean by that? If you know me, I don’t like to duplicate Names, Titles, or Acts.

That was what was happening with this movie. I’m already doing it with Billia and Helleni between scene numbers and Acts. It’s not a big deal with the scene numbers because they are still at least two numbers separating them, but the Acts are different. After all, only one Act is separating Billia and Helleni.

It was mainly the use of the word, ‘their’ as in ‘Their Family,’ ‘Their Parents,’ ‘Their Friends,’ etc. I didn’t like doing that. So, I updated these sentences by adjusting them to use ‘Billia’s Title,’ or ‘Hellenia’s Title,’ instead of ‘Their.’ I’m still using ‘Their,’ but not in connection with other ‘Theirs.’

After I finished updating my synopsis part of this setup, I started working on my sentences. I started with my Act Breakdown for this movie. While I was doing this breakdown, I still had to adjust the synopsis for this movie sometimes. Only now it wasn’t the Character Names and Titles. It was the second word.

Like my Character Names and Titles repeating themselves at least two Character Names and Titles apart, excluding the Acts for Billia and Helleni, I don’t like to do that with the second word behind these Character Names and titles. Especially, if it’s the same word that repeats itself after these Names and Titles.

It wasn’t too bad, though. I didn’t need to update my synopsis because of my second word too often, but I did have to do it some. That’s why I only got two Acts written for my sentence Story Outline written today. Of course, that was after I finished updating my Act Breakdown for my latest movie, aka this movie.

Will I get the rest of this Story Outline finished before I return to work tomorrow at six PM WDC time? Usually, the answer to that question would be no because of my not having any time to work on my scriptwriting before I return to work, but lately I have had a few hours to work on it before I return to work.

Whether I get this Story Outline finished before I return to work tomorrow doesn’t matter. I would like to get it done before then so that I can start working on my Scene Outline, but it doesn’t need to be done. It just means that I will need to finish this Story Outline before I start working on my Scene Outline.
