When the Moment Finally Comes

When the moment finally comes
changing chapters brings its grief.
The action lumbers o'er its sums,
"increasing tension or relief?"

The die is cast. Result is known.
To choose some other course,...not now.
The life of man three years has grown.
Before the Sovereign all must bow.
(Philippians 2:5-11, KJV)

For when the moment's finally here,
the time to act is at the door.
New things to come are sometimes clear,
but often they're just feet to floor.

In confidence we forward go
because we've heard the Master's call.
Results are His to always know,
if stand we do, or at times fall.

Thus failing forward causes pain
for those, who'd have life perfect be.
"The forest trees their toughness gain
by winds no eyes can ever see."
