A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Phase One Started Today It took me longer than I thought it would to finish updating my paragraph Scene Outlines. I’m not surprised it took me so long to update them. After all, I had to do a lot of deleting, copying, and pasting for a five-part mini-series and the first four episodes of this television series. How did I accomplish this? I started by opening the sentence Scene Outline for the main character, Chaad. Then I opened the three paragraphs Scene Outlines for Chaad. Before I started copying and pasting the first three Acts for these documents, I had to delete each Act individually. Why did I need to delete these Acts individually? It’s because my paragraph Scene Outlines are written like an episodic script with a FADE IN and a FADE OUT for each Act. I also start a new Act on a new page, just like I would do for my episodic scripts. After all, this is a five-part mini-series and not a Movie Introduction now. After I finished deleting these scene numbers from the Acts of my paragraph Scene Outline for Chaad, I did the same thing for the documents for Suuri and Hoolle. I thought it was going to take me about two, maybe three, hours to accomplish this update, but it ended up taking me almost twice that long to finish updating these Scene Outlines. That’s why it took me so long to finish my update for my Scene Outlines. After I finished updating my paragraph Scene Outlines, I started Phase One of my Water Wars scriptwriting project, aka the sentences for my Act Breakdowns, my Story Outlines, and my Scene Outlines. Unfortunately, I only had the time today to get one and a half sentences written for my Part One and Part Two Act Breakdown. I only got fifty-four sentences written today, aka thirty-six for Part One and eighteen for Part Two. It should have been more, but I didn’t have the time to do it. Tomorrow, I return to work at six PM WDC time for my first twelve-hour shift for this weekend. I will continue working on this project during my twenty-four-hour shift this weekend. Hopefully, I can continue working on this project before I return to work tomorrow, but I’m not going to count on that until it happens. After all, I have thought that way before. I don’t know if I will have the time to do it before then. After all, I have been too busy getting ready for work for me to have any time for my writing. At least, it used to be that way, until recently. Lately, I have had a few hours that I can devote to my writing. Hopefully, tomorrow will be one of those days when I will have time to work on this project. |
