A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Another Great Saturday and Sunday I got a total of two hundred and seventeen sentences written for my Water Wars scriptwriting Project early yesterday evening at six PM WDC time and early this morning at six AM WDC time. It should have been more, but work got in the way of my writing. After all, it was very busy for a Saturday and a Sunday, especially for a Sunday. It’s usually the other way around. It is normally busier on a Saturday evening than a Sunday morning, but that isn’t what happened this weekend. Mainly, company trucks come in on a Saturday evening, but yesterday evening it was just the opposite. Most of my responsibility wasn’t for the company trucks early yesterday evening. Usually, the last five hours of my shift on Sunday morning, I don’t see too many trucks coming in or out of where I work, but early this morning, I did see a few more than normal. About half of them were company trucks, and the other half weren’t company trucks. As a result of all these trucks coming in and out where I work, I didn’t get as much writing done early yesterday evening and early this morning. I probably only got about ten to ten and a half hours of writing done today instead of eleven or twelve. It was probably closer to ten and a half. Despite what happened to me at work during my twelve-hour shift yesterday evening and early this morning, I still got two hundred and seventeen sentences written during this twelve-hour shift. That’s about thirty-three paragraphs every hour. That doesn’t read like a lot of paragraphs, but it is to me. I’m used to getting about half of that amount. If it wasn’t how busy it was early yesterday evening and early this morning, then what was the reason I didn’t get more writing done during this twelve-hour shift at work? The usual reason is because of my lack of sleep or my lack of concentration. I didn’t have either of these problems, especially my lack of concentration. How did I get to the magic number of two hundred and seventeen sentences that I got written within the last twelve hours at work? It means that I needed one hundred sentences before I finished my Part Four Scene Outline. I got that accomplished in about four and and half hours. It took me a little longer to finish Part Four of my mini-series because of how busy it got at work yesterday evening. After I finished Part Four, I got forty-two sentences for my Part Five Story Outline and seventy-five for my Scene Outline. That’s how I got two hundred and seventeen. Hopefully, tomorrow will be as good or better than today. If it’s like early last Sunday evening and early Monday morning, I may be lucky if I get another one hundred and fifty sentences written. I think that’s how many sentences I got written during my second twelve-hour shift last weekend. It may have been a little bit more or less. All I need to write is seventy-five more sentences to finish my Part Five Scene Outline and this mini-series for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After I get this mini-series done, I will start working on Episode One of this project. How far in this Episode One will I get early this evening and tomorrow morning, I don’t know, but I will get to it. |
