Day 1 assignment

Characters:

Nolan Navarro, age 30: a formerly obese fitness coach who is now lean and muscular.

Nolan Navarro, age 25: an obese man striving to lose weight. He is in junior college trying to get a degree in kinesiology.

Glen Tana, age 29: a muscular ballet instructor who doesn’t like the 25 year old version of Nolan. They all train at the same gym.

Natalie (Natty) Gaines, age 21: a fitness bunny that is interested in the 30 year old version of Nolan. She believes he is cousin of the 25 year old version of Nolan. Glen Tana is also interested in her.

The 30 year old version of Nolan finds himself stranded 5 years in the past, and must live with his younger self until the natural passage of time allows him to return to his present era. He passes himself off as the cousin of his younger self while living as his room mate, and because of their physical differences, people believe this.

The two of them don’t always get along, and must work together to ensure others don’t find out that the 30 year old version of Nolan isn’t the cousin of the 25 year old version of him.

The older Nolan won’t share his weight loss secrets with the younger Nolan, because he believes that he must find them out for himself. The younger Nolan is constantly trying to uncover the older Nolan’s weight loss secrets.

The people from the future who sent the older Nolan 5 years into the past were part of an experiment to bring a world war 2 pilot into the 21st century, and they created a time rift that accidentally sent Nolan back in time.

The supervisor of the experiment realizes Nolan was accidentally sent back in time, but decides to leave him there, because there is a precedent for this, because he knows that when Nolan is older, he will contact the United States government about his time travel experience, and sending him back to his own time would interfere with their own future history. Therefore, Nolan can’t be retrieved and sent back to his own time.
