Day 2 assignment
1: This story takes place in Downey, California, in the present day, but the prologue sequence starts five years in the future…

2: The main characters are Nolan Navarro, age 25, and his older counterpart, age 30. His love interest is Natty Gaines, a cardio bunny who is a student at his junior college, and also goes to the gym he works out at. Myron Gaines is her brother, a good friend of Nolan’s.

2b: Nolan age 25 can’t figure out how to lose weight, despite being a kinesiology major. His 30 year old counterpart is very arrogant about his body, because he was fat for so long that he now looks down on his younger, obese self. Natty is very curious and nosey.

2c: Nolan age 25 and Nolan age 30 want to pass of the older counterpart as the cousin of the younger version of Nolan, and they must go through great lengths to avoid letting their friends and acquaintances find out that the 30 year old Nolan is from the future. They are concerned that mental health workers will try to tase them if they admit the older counterpart is from the future.

3: Their close friends are not easily convinced that the older Nolan is the cousin of the younger version of him. They know Nolan too well, and the fact that they share the same first and last name is suspicious to Myron and Natty.

4: Glen Tana is a bully who hates fat people. He is a ballet instructor and is interested in Natty Gaines. He is intimidated by the older version of Nolan, but caps on the younger version whenever possible.

A 30 year old fitness enthusiast is pulled back in time five years and forced to become room mates with his younger, obese self.
