Oct 11: Turning Point
“Turning Point”

When Glenn Tana was in the 9th grade, he was lean and just starting to lift weights. He was walking home from school alone one day carrying his binder and a book, when an obese schoolmate named Chuck Morgan confronted him. Chuck was a couple of grades above Glenn.

“Were you talking trash about me earlier today?” Chuck asked. “Cynthia Miller won’t go to the dance with me this weekend because of what you told her!”

Glenn didn’t know what Chuck was talking about. He had never spoken to Cynthia Miller. Chuck pushed him really hard. Chuck outweighed Glenn by at least a hundred pounds. Glenn tried to fight back, but Chuck knocked him down on the sidewalk and started kicking him.

When it was all over, Chuck walked away and Glenn picked up his book and binder and went home with a bruise on his face. He was extremely confused about what had just occurred.

That evening after dinner, Glenn phoned some friends to get to the bottom of all of this. He found out that another high school student named Glenn Platt had been talking trash to Cynthia about Chuck, and that had been why Glenn Tana was falsely blamed. Chuck had gotten the two of them confused. Despite this, he never got an apology from Chuck.

That day was a turning point in Glenn’s life. He vowed to wage a one man war against all fat people from that time onward. He would never be friends with fat people, and he would dedicate his life to gaining muscle mass so he could hunt fat people down and beat them up!

The End
