| When 30 year old Nolan goes back in time and his counterpart who is 5 years older than him takes his place, he is falsely accused of murdering his younger counterpart by Glenn Tana. Nolan is thrown in jail, and forced to prove what took place over the past five years. If he can get a hold of the transponder to contact Major Terry Grant, he can summon him from the future to testify in his behalf and prove his innocence. The transponder is in a ceramic vase high on a shelf in his apartment. While he explains his situation to the court, everything that happened to him is told in flashbacks. His wife, Natty Gaines, is in Hawaii for two weeks with her parents and brother for their anniversary. She needs to watch her nephews and nieces, so Nolan is stuck. Nolan had been forced to continue working at the gym where he met Natty, and couldn’t get time off to go with his wife and her parents. She can retrieve the transponder from their apartment, but Nolan must wait until she returns from her trip. Meanwhile, he tells the prosecutor everything that happened over the past 5 years. The prosecutor and the others in the court don’t believe anything he says, and question his sanity. Nolan is put on trial and found guilty, and sentenced to prison. He has no way to contact his wife, and he waits to be taken to Wasco state penitentiary reception center near Bakersfield, California. |
