My thoughts released; a mind set free |
| It's been a tough weekend. My check-up and endoscopy went well today, and I'll be able to receive my last chemo infusion tomorrow. I'm still having a lot of abdominal problems, and tomorrow's infusion is going to make it worse; it's going to make everything worse, but hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll be feeling better. Just knowing I won't have chemo anymore is a wonderful feeling. Speaking of making everything worse, we are under a severe winter storm warning from late tonight until tomorrow night. The temperature will not get above freezing, wind gusts of forty miles per hour, and three to six inches of snow! WVen worse, we may have freezing rain for a bit before it turns to snow. Yes, a nice coating of ice, under a thick blanket of wet, heavy snow, and strong winds to top it off. If I could, I'd stay home. I'm not concerned about my or my wife's driving in bad weather; it's the idiots out and about who can't drive on a nice day that cause concern. |
