A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here.

Yes and No About Episode One
Yes and No About Episode One

I’m not sure how I did it, but I got Episode One, ‘Everyone Should Know,’ of my Story Outline written early yesterday evening to early today, aka a twelve-hour shift. That’s forty-two paragraphs in about ten hours, or about four paragraphs every hour, or about fifteen minutes for every hour.

Wait a second. Did I write forty-two paragraphs for my Episode One DeathBringers Story Outline? Yes, I did. That’s because there are only seven paragraphs for every Act in this television series, instead of eight paragraphs for every Act in my DeathBringers mini-series. How did that happen?

It happened because my mini-series has four storylines going along with it, but there are only three storylines for my Episode part of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. As a result, there are seven paragraphs for every Act in my television phase of this project, instead of eight in my mini-series.

That’s the ‘yes’ part of this blog title for today. Unfortunately, the ‘no’ part of it is because I don’t like what I have written for this television series. I wrote the forty-two paragraphs for this episode, and a lot of updating of my sentence Scene Outline, but I didn’t like the way it turned out.

The storylines for the Episode One Story Outline will be the same as the ones I wrote at work early yesterday evening to early this morning. It’s how I’m writing them that is different. What does that mean for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project?

It means that I’m updating this part of this project. At first, I was going to only copy and paste these five documents into my DeathBringers 2025 folder. Then erase the sentence and paragraphs for the copied part of these documents. That’s not what I did, though. It’s better the way I did it.

Instead, I created a new folder, ‘Updated DeathBringers 2025,’ and copied all the documents from ‘DeathBringers 2025’ into it. Then all I needed to do was delete the sentences and paragraphs for the Episode One documents. Unfortunately, that’s about all the time that I had today to do it.

Between working all night last night and the need to get some sleep today, I only had about two hours to work on this project. I didn’t have too much time today to update this episode for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. All that I accomplished today was the Act Breakdown for this project.

What does that mean for this project? It means that I only have two days to finish writing my sentence Story Outline and my sentence Scene Outline for this episode before I return to work this Thursday. That’s right, I’m working a four-day shift this week instead of a two-day weekend this week.

Will I get this updating done before I return to work on Thanksgiving Day this Thursday? I hope that I can so that I can start working on my paragraph Story Outline this Thursday. If I can do that, I may be able to get this phase of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project done by the end of this weekend.

I think that I can finish this phase of my DeathBringers scriptwriting project by the end of this four-day Thanksgiving weekend. It all depends on what I can get done over the next two days on my updating, and how busy it gets at work for this four-day weekend, and if I have any more updating to do on this project.
