| I stayed on intermittent fasting for a good number of days, but fell off on Sunday. It hasn’t been raining, so I’ve been walking before breakfast. My triceps bar came from Amazon on Friday, it’s fun to train with it. I got a good deal on it, paid less than $70. Saturday night my brother in law came to visit, and Monday morning I avoided going with him when he left to go somewhere. I made oatmeal and hardboiled eggs for breakfast, so I wasn’t tempted to go get fast food. This is an ongoing struggle that I sometimes win and sometimes lose. Recently on one of his weekend visits I went to a fast food place and a donut shop and got junk foods. I need to try to have the willpower to stay on my diet and not go with him. It would also help to save money, too. I ordered some Pinto beans from Amazon, I got them cheaper than I can get them from the supermarket. I make chili con carne with them, and the canned chicken breast from Costco and two cans of tomato sauce. I also add a package of McCormick’s low sodium chili con carne seasoning. This is a healthier lunch or dinner than buying canned chili con carne. |
