The First Half Only This may be another short blog entry. Not because I don’t have too much to write about, which I don’t, but because I don’t have too much to write about today. Of course, I have written this before, and it turned out not so short a blog entry. It could go either way again today. I think that I know why I only got twenty-one paragraphs written for my Episode One Story Outline, aka barely the first half of this episode. It’s because of the weather and what I was watching on my tablet early yesterday evening at six PM WDC time and early this morning at six AM WDC time. The weather was rainy about two-thirds of my twelve-hour shift at work yesterday evening and early this morning. It started about ten PM WDC time and was still happening after I got off work at six AM WDC time. Luckily, most of this rain was light in texture and in duration. It wasn’t a heavy rain either. Mainly, the rain yesterday evening and overnight this morning was light. Sometimes it looked like a sprinkles or misting. I don’t think it rained heavy all during this twelve-hour shift. At least I didn’t see any heavy rain yesterday evening or overnight this morning. I’m watching movies during my four-day shift this week. That may have slowed me down a little bit, and as a result, I didn’t get as many paragraphs as I was hoping to get. I don’t think that it slowed me down that much, if it slowed me down at all, but I could be wrong about that. Usually, I’m watching television shows while I’m at work during my twenty-four-hour shifts over the weekend. About one weekend a month, I will devote it to movies, and it is usually at the end of the month, but that isn’t why I’m watching them this four-day weekend. I have been watching movies this four-day weekend because it’s a four-day weekend. It’s not because it’s the end of the month, like it usually is. It is because this weekend is a four-day weekend. Watching these movies may have slowed me down a little bit, but I don’t think it slowed me down that much. Another reason I may have slowed down a little was because of what I wanted to write. I knew what I wanted to write, but I didn’t know how to write it in the four or five lines that these paragraphs represent. It wasn’t only the length of these lines that was a problem for me. It was also the end of these four or five lines that I had some problems with because of my five characters at the end of a line rule. I also had a problem with my lines running over sixty characters because of a period or a comma. That happened quite often during my twelve-hour shift earlier today. If you hadn’t already noticed it, I was wrong about this blog entry being a short one. It wasn’t my longest blog entry, but it was probably very close to being my longest one. That’s how long this blog entry turned out to be today. That also happens when I freelance these blog entries. |
