A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Not Another Mixed Blog Entry Technically, the last five hours of my shift earlier today were on the first day of December, but in my defense, I didn’t know that there was a new WDC Short Story prompt for December yet. According to my Favorites List, this new prompt came in sometime yesterday, aka the thirtieth of November, a few hours before December started. I didn’t know this until almost the end of my twelve-hour shift early yesterday evening to early this morning. It’s not easy looking for updates on my cell phone, but it can be done. It would be a lot easier if I had internet access at work, but I don’t. Anyway, I did find out that the new WDC prompt for December had been posted. Why did I have the time to look up whether a new WDC prompt came out during the last five hours of my shift earlier today? It’s because I had a little bit of time to kill until the end of my shift. I only needed thirty-five paragraphs to end my Episode Two, ‘After the Vexions.’ Story Outline, and I did that with about forty-five minutes left on my shift. Instead of trying to fight the instinct to stay awake in my cold Guard Shack, I decided to look to see if there was a new WDC prompt for this month. I didn’t expect to find one yet. After all, the first day of December only started a few hours ago. It would probably be within the next three days that it would have come out. I was very surprised when I saw it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go to sleep until almost noon today because my brother and I had a few things to do before the bad snowy weather started around our area, and that took us almost until noon to accomplish that. As a result, I only got about six hours of sleep today. I haven’t had much time to think about a Short Story associated with this prompt. That’s why this blog entry isn’t a mixed blog entry, two separate blog entries, or a continuous blog entry today. Speaking of this being a ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog entry, I know that I have gotten sidetracked from what this blog entry is supposed to be about, aka what I accomplished early yesterday evening and early this morning. I accomplished a lot during my fourth twelve-hour shift last week at work. After all, all I needed to write were thirty-five paragraphs to finish writing the Episode Two Story Outline for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project. That, I accomplished with about forty-five minutes to spare. That’s why this blog entry isn’t a mixed blog entry in any way. I’m not sure how I wrote thirty-five paragraphs during this twelve-hour shift after the last few days, when I have only gotten twenty-one to twenty-eight paragraphs written. I don’t know how I did it, but I did. Unfortunately, that’s all the time I will have for this week. After all, I do have at least one Short Story to work on this week. Hopefully, it won’t take me longer than four days to finish writing the WDC Short Story for this month. I would like to continue working on my last two episodes for my DeathBringers scriptwriting project when I return to work this weekend. After all, I only have these two more episodes before I’m done working on this project for right now. |
