Warm
are mother's
arms, her heartbeat is
rhythmic and lulling to a
baby wrapped in swaddling
clothes. Soft her embrace
kind her heart -
loved

Night
cool and clear
stars twinkle and glow
shepherds tending to their flock.
Angels we have heard on High.
She closes her eyes
content and
loved

Child
bundled tight
soft hand on his head.
His mother's voice sweetly sings.
His body warms to her touch.
He knows she is near
forever is
loved
